     WestWood Golden Retrievers is located in Clive, Iowa just west of Des Moines. We are only five minutes from I35 and I80. Our kennel is suitably named after the beautiful area in which it is located. We have a multitude of trees and an abundance of wildlife that frequent the area daily.

     The golden retriever is first and foremost a loving friend and hunting companion. The goal of our breeding program is to produce high quality dogs that are bred with true and loving golden retriever temperaments. All dogs have several generations of health clearances for hips, eyes, hearts and elbows. Each breeding is carefully planned as we strive for correct structure, movement and ‘bird sense’.

     Our puppies are placed in a variety of homes that include show, working, and family homes. They are well socialized by our nine grandchildren and are ready to be lifelong friends when they go home with you. They are raised in our home and will have started house training and crate training by the time they are placed in their new families. We believe in building a partnership with our clients and are here to assist you through out the life of your dog.
